Holiday House is bringing a designer’s eye to one of the Hamptons’ oldest habits: the summer party. In a place where a lunch invitation can quietly turn into a whole evening, hosting is practically a competitive sport — and this year, Holiday House is treating it as an art form.
Starting August 14, the group opens The Summer Table at 6 Windy Hill Lane in Bridgehampton. Designers have taken over the house room by room, each space built around a different way to gather, from full-dress dinner tables to smaller, looser moments. Think of it less as a traditional showhouse and more as a walk-through argument for why the table itself deserves as much design attention as the room around it.
